Youth enrichment services program

Academic Preparation. College Prep CP is designed for 11th and 12th grade students who are interested in receiving admission testing support, one-on-one mentorship and college guidance, exposure to collegiate contexts, and assistance in completing college and scholarship application materials.

Female Empowerment and Wellness Initiative FeWi is designed to provide and foster a positive and healthful space for sisterhood. In a series of sessions and outings, our female students think broadly about their health as they explore wellness through lenses of selfcare, financial independence, physical fitness, and spirituality.

Voices to Men. Voices to Men is designed to provide young men with the knowledge and skills to be socially and economically successful community leaders. Through a variety of targeted sessions, outings, and exercises with male mentors, participants will demonstrate knowledge of and strategically use their social, educational, and real voices and challenge the often-restrictive story plaguing men of color.

Employability Preparation. The Pathways to Access Program PAP is a workforce development program that exposes 9—12 graders to a variety of career experience and allows them to develop skills necessary to enter the workforce. Serving local and surrounding Pittsburgh communities, students, and families. The heart of YES is a spirit of mentorship that places students at its center. YES enables peer mentors to guide project curriculum, program focus, and youth activities. There are many other activities, events and programs that the Enrichment operates as well.

The Youth Enrichment Program strives to provide quality education-based programs in a safe and fun atmosphere. As each day passes, staff will help students grow to their fullest potential through specific skill development, sportsmanship, and valued center programming. Ten years from now, it is our hope that your student will remember that special day at camp, the accomplishment of completing an art project, or a special off-site field trip or camp they attended.
